Jo's was reviewed by the Improper Bostonian magazine of June 27th, this is what they said:

Where to drink:

Nantasket promises plenty of safe bets for getting buzzed on the beach. The Red Parrot has live music, Karaoke, a big deck that overlooks the ocean, top shelf martinis and a decent beer list that includes Red Parrot Ale. Next door, Barefoot Bob's Beach Grill features an island motif, a respectable surf-and-turf menu and a slew of specialty drinks such as Barefoot Bob's Rum Punch ( a yummy your-guess-is-as-good-as-mine blend, on the rocks ) and Goombay Smash ( rum, citrus juice and more rum ). But our favorite Hull hooch haunt is Jo's Nautical Bar, the oldest surviving pub in the city, which has been serving Massachusetts mariners since 1952. Reachable from land or sea, Jo's sits in a seaside basement in a weathered house on the tip of Hull.

South Shore's only wireless internet bar. Bring your laptop, blackberry, or cell and get free internet access.
