 Event was held Friday, 22 September 2006 at Jo's Nautical, and the tug McDevitt Girls, (owned by Mike McDevitt, son of USCG veteran Ed McDevitt).

Jo's Nautical Bar and Acushnet Transportation and Towing proudly hosted the veteran crewmembers of the Duane on a historic trip to Fort Warren (George's Island in Boston Harbor) aboard the tug McDevitt Girls. Plan of the day:
This plan submitted to CWO Thomas J Guthlem, CO PT. Allerton Station, Hull MA. by Company Cmdr. Ed McDevitt, Plymouth Police and Mass Maritime Academies.
 
1015hrs; CG Honor Guard on board with Chief Barone at Pemberton Pier on tug McDevitt Girls.
1030hrs; CG Duane vets on board underway to Fort Warren on George's Island for historic tour.
1210hrs; Underway from Fort Warren enroute to position 42deg.18'N  070deg.55' W  . Tug will heave to on heading 120 magnetic. Vets manned port rail. USCG boat came close aboard, ceremony  commenced with taps. The wreath ceremony was coordinated by the commanding officer of USCG Point Allerton and the officer in charge of Boston Station, Rick Barone.
Following the ceremony the tug returned to Pemberton Pier, with photo op at Boston Light.
All were invited to splice the main brace at Jo's Nautical following the ceremony.
