The room felt more like my own living room (albeit far more splendid) and less like a bar, coming in from the chilly outside environs and entering this warm and inviting magical place was a thing of beauty, the bartender was a fine young lass, and served the libations with a smile and a most pleasant demeanor, within minutes two friendly souls made their way and began engaging in a fairly heartfelt conversation about the quirky yet proud history of hull and why this is truly one of the happiest places to live on earth…. what a gem!
